Quantum is a leader in applying genetic information to livestock management. We started operations in 2003, diversified to crop testing in 2009.

We use customer-driven demand to develop new technologies for the farm. We focus on technologies that drive efficiency, create wealth and are simple to implement and use. We pride ourselves on providing international quality and technical standards in laboratory testing.

Quite simply, Quantum provides DNA testing for farmers, by farmers.

Environment

QGCI began operations at Innovation Place, a research park next to the University of Saskatchewan, in 2003. In 2018, we moved to a larger location at Highway 16 and Floral Road, SE of Saskatoon to accommodate our growing business.

Technology

Our facility houses state-of-the-art automated equipment to ensure consistent, accurate, high throughput test results.

Quality control permeates every step of processing samples, from cataloguing upon arrival to issuing clear test results.
